Do I need permission to fell a tree?
On most residential plots no permission is required, but some local development plans and protected trees (old oaks, for example) require a felling permit (marklov) from the municipality. Service Plus helps you check what applies to your property.
Can Service Plus fell trees standing close to the house?
Yes. Service Plus uses sectional felling, where the tree is taken down piece by piece by climbing or from a lift, which makes it possible to fell safely even next to buildings and on tight plots.
Are stump grinding and removal included in tree felling?
Removal is quoted as an option and stump grinding is booked as a separate service with our stump specialist Stubben, ideally on the same day. The tree can also be cut into firewood and left on the plot. Felling and stump grinding qualify for RUT deduction.
